For a self-assigned creative challenge, I created a recipe app which enables users to search and save recipes, meal plan, and export grocery shopping lists. Through the process, I designed and implemented a design system consisting of various UI elements including color, type, buttons, navigation, and icons. The app allows users to filter by meal type, dietary restrictions, calories, time to cook, and difficulty level. Users can create weekly meal planners based off their favorite meals and automatically export interactive shopping lists with ingredients needed for the user's meal plan.
